Remember the gif animation craze of the mid-1990s?
In those days, "cut & paste" meant more than point and click, and digital still cameras, video cameras,
and flatbed scanners were either not available or ridiculously expensive.
Browsers were so primitive that you had to be sure to upgrade to Netscape 2.0
if you wanted to be able to view gif animations.
